Building our new house:
Fireplace -- second time around
As you saw on the first page of our fireplace adventure, the original fireplace was far too big. After discussions with the vendor, they removed the fireplace and we purchased another one from Noblett Appliance and Propane, Kilmarnock, VA. It was delivered on 3 June; we installed it and it will be connected during the week of 9-13 June. Here's a picture of the new fireplace.
The open area around the fireplace will be covered with tile and surrounded by a mantle. Notice that the walls and trim have been painted and ceiling fans installed -- three fans in this room.
