Okay, here's what happened on 22 May -- set the end posts next to the concrete pad to support the joists coming from the lawn landing to the pad. Here's a photo.
The two posts that are next to the concrete pad are lined up with the four posts on the lawn landing; set in 16 inches of concrete. Notice that the pad is beginning to turn grey as the concrete dries. I kept it covered with a tarp all night and most of the day.
We have to build two ramps: (1) from landing at the porch to the lawn landing, and, (2) from the lawn landing to the cement pad.
