Here are photos from today, Wednesday, 10 June. The first picture is taken from the porch looking toward the yard. I removed the handrail from the porch.
I am now installing decking lumber onto the joists. This is pressure-treated lumber, 1-1/4 inches thick, slightly rounded on the edges.
However, before installing the decking, I installed white PVC trim along all the edges of the joists and the landing.
This photo shows the PVC trim along the outer edge of the joists and the 1-1/4 deck boards being installed.
