"Payment Agent"
Scam
In this e-mail message, the scam artist claims to represent a company doing
business in the US and in need of hiring someone to "establish a medium for
getting our funds from our customers . . . " It's a scam -- they
will send you a (forged) check; you cash the check and send money to addresses
they provide to you; when your bank discovers that the check is bogus, you are
out the money you withdrew to forward for them.
