Goldfinch visiting the birdfeeder
This photo was taken in late May 1999. Camera was a Pentax IQ-ZOOM60 point-and-shoot, zoomed out to 80mm; Fuji 200 ASA film; shot through the kitchen window. This feeder is filled with thistle seed and attracts lots of finches in the late spring and early fall. We see goldfinches, house finches, and red finches -- sometimes all three are on the feeder together.
