The highway is I-75 between Lexington, KY, and Knoxville, TN. Facing west. Jellico is on the TN-KY line, just inside TN. Knoxville is 75 miles down I-75 to the left. Much of this area was strip-mined; mining is now essentially dead and this is one of the poorest areas of Tennessee.
