Joe and
Friends
This is our son, Joe, and his two friends, Opie (orange tabby) and Booger (black & white). Joe served seven years in the Army's Special Forces (the "Green Berets" -- though they do not call themselves that); he graduated from East Carolina University in May 2000 and now lives in Northern Virginia where he is a construction supervisor.
During his military service, he served:
- In Desert Storm;
- As a French linguist in Haiti and West Africa;
- In (I can't tell you that place);
- In (can't tell you that one either);
- Completed French Commando School, in addition to all his U.S. training;
- And in a couple of other strange places.
